Accessibility Statement

Jayone Foods is committed to making our online catalog usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time project.

Conformance status

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This site is currently partially conformant with that standard: most of it meets Level AA, and the exceptions we know about are listed below. We publish this status rather than a blanket claim of full conformance because we would rather be accurate than reassuring.

Known exceptions we are working on

  • Recipe article images. Some step-by-step cooking photos on our recipe blog do not yet have descriptive alternative text. We are writing these by hand.
  • Company video on the About page. It plays automatically and does not yet offer a pause control.
  • Button label contrast. White text on our brand-green buttons measures 4.38:1 against the 4.5:1 minimum for regular-size text. Body copy and links across the site meet or exceed the minimum.
  • Decorative icons. Some inline icons are not yet marked as decorative, so a screen reader may announce them unnecessarily.
  • Third-party content. Embedded media and retailer widgets we do not control may not meet our targets.

How we evaluated this site

Self-evaluation carried out on 22 July 2026, combining automated checks with a manual review of the site's code and content. Every image the site serves was counted and checked. This assessment has not yet been validated with assistive technology by a disabled user; arranging that review is our next step, and we will update this page when it is done.
