Our mission

To bring nutritious and delicious Korean food to the global stage.

Jayone Foods is a Korean food importer, distributor, and private-label partner — and the maker of its own tofu line — headquartered in Paramount, California. Since 1999 we have imported, made, and shipped over 800 products to retailers and food-service partners across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, guided by integrity, sustainability, and quality.

What we do

Importer. Distributor. Private-label partner. And maker of our own tofu.

  • Importer Sourcing premium Korean foods from trusted manufacturers.
  • Distributor Delivering 800+ quality products across North and Latin America.
  • Private-label Partner Creating custom solutions and our own tofu line to fit your brand.

Three service lines run out of our Paramount headquarters: import & distribution of Korean partner brands into US retail and food-service, private-label development for grocery and convenience-store buyers who want Korean staples under their own brand (made by our partner factories in Korea), and our own tofu manufacturing to FSSC 22000 and HACCP food-safety standards.

Together those three lines move nearly 1,300 SKUs through our Paramount and Buena Park facilities — built on partnerships we’ve grown since 1999.

Leadership

Founder-led since 1999

Founded in 1999, Jayone Foods opened its tofu factory in Southern California the following year. That single-product shop grew into a manufacturer, importer, and distributor of Korean food — among the first to bring Korean roasted seaweed to the US as a healthy snack, under our Sea’s Gift label in 2006.

Today our flagship line spans sauces, canned kimchi, tofu, instant rice and noodles, and a growing range of plant-based items — sold in mainstream grocery, Asian retail, and online across North America.

Brand architecture

One company, four labels

Jayone Foods is the parent company. Four labels sit under it: GAT GIM for bold, flavored roasted-seaweed snacks, Suul & Mor for Korea’s traditional spirits, Excelife for home and kitchen goods, and Sea’s Gift for classic roasted seaweed.

Marketing history

On the shelf since 1999, and counting.

From the first grocery listings in 2000 to TikTok Shop and Faire in 2026, Jayone has earned a place on the shelves of America’s biggest grocers, club stores, food-service distributors, and Asian specialty chains.
